I was having a conversation with a girl whom I have known for a long time now, but I have never really gotten the chance to "know" her until recently. We began discussing casual things and our conversation later evolved into a more serious and heart felt conversation. Once her and I hung up from our hour and a half phone conversation, I started to contemplate on the things we had just discussed. I started to think about how sometimes we are so hard on ourselves and kill ourselves over past mistakes and past failures that have occurred in our lives. It is amazing to see how REAL God is and how nothing is by accident, how it was no accident that her and I were having that conversation. I started to think about how at times when we go through stuff and we mess up we do not always forgive ourselves. I have made mistakes in my life, I have failed as a friend, as a daughter, as a co-worker and even as a girlfriend, I am human! I mess up!!! I have no doubt that one day in the future I will mess up as a mother and a wife, but aside from messing up I have always prided myself on the fact that I have for the most part been one to make wise decisions, but there are times when I do not always make the right choice. I beat myself up about it and ask my self what have I learned from this situation what is God trying to teach me in all of this? I realized today that part of the reason we go through things is so God can use us later to help someone else out with same struggles that I may have already gone through. It is amazing to see how God really does use all things to work together for good. The next time you think about past failures and can't forgive yourself think about what you have learned and how God can use you later on to help someone else out.

It is true that everything we go through is for a reason. Sometimes it take us a while to understand what the reason is but I guess when you really stop pounding your head about it and take a moment you realize what it is. Everything we go through in life rather good or bad serves a propose. Life doesn't come with instruction. Just guide lines but no real clear cut answers. But our trail and errors, our failures and mistakes that’s were the lesson comes in. That is were instruction are made. If we really learned hopefully we will not make the same mistakes and like you said hopefully our mistake or experience can help another person out. Nothing that we go through in life is just because rather we see the whole picture unfold now or later we will see it soon. God has a lot planned for us and as long as we stay focus and don't stare away from it will live in all his blessings.
And you my friend I know that no matter what errors you have made or will make you will come on top. Just never lose that drive or your faith.
